UdacityFor my campaign, I set up two ad groups, one group for those at the awareness stage and the other group for those who are aware of Udacity and are interested in starting a course in making money from apps with ads.
Each ad group has different keywords based on the intent. The awareness ad group uses keywords such as mobile app advertising and advertise my app. The interest ad group has more specific keywords such as mobile monetization, Google play, and AdMob.
I used Keyword Planner to search keywords that had a high search volume and low competition.
In each ad group, there are two ads for a total of 4 ads. Each ad has a different copy, to test which one performs better. In the awareness stage ad group, I wrote copy that highlighted a free course to learn how to make money with an app. With the interest ads, I wrote copy that highlighted learning how to create display banners and interstitial ads.
