Barbara Gee

Served as Program Director for the Entrepreneur-in-Residence program (in collaboration with Google for Entrepreneurs) as well as led a cross-departmental initiative to expand Code2040 programs into the New York market.

I jumped into the EIR program mid-way as the Acting Program Director and seamlessly took over all execution related activities, working with a nationwide network of startup hubs and supported 8 black and brown founders of early stage ventures. In addition, I took over liaison responsibility with Google for Entrepreneurs, a key partner organization. Lastly, I oversaw all evaluation and administrative work and authored a draft of the year’s program impact report.

The program executed successfully and provided much needed support to a cohort of founders, including a very impactful “Mock Board” of investors who gave impactful feedback to the founders on the strengths and weaknesses of their pitches.
