Hospital Mãe de Deus is the only hospital double certified in the south of Brazil, member of a Mãe de Deus Healthcare System. With more than 30 years of history, 380 beds in a 55 thousand m², with 2.000 advanced technology equipments, and a more than 1.700 credentied physicians team. It is one of the two Planetree certified hospitals in Latin America.
THE BRIEFING
Two demands guided this intervention. The first was the need to delimit and give more privacy to the coffee tables that operated on the site. The second was to guide the movement of people to the elevator shaft in an intuitive way.
THE SOLUTION
We always seek to insert elements of nature in the projects, validating scientific research that supports its benefits. But for lack of lighting and for regulatory issues of the place, this would not be possible. The solution was to develop a 3D effect on glass plates, simulating the natural vegetation. The projected partitions also met our intention of permeability and flexibility, since they are mobile and can accompany the customer’s plant changes.
