Escaping Agra, a documentary

I am the director, producer, cinematographer and editor of ESCAPING AGRA, a short documentary about Naveen Bhat, who was held captive in India after their parents found out about their gender and sexual orientation, and how Naveen made their way home to California through a landmark court case that highlights transgender rights in India. (Naveen uses they/them pronouns).

ESCAPING AGRA has won multiple awards, and has screened in film festivals across multiple countries and continents.
