Foreign Affairs is an American magazine that focuses on international relations and foreign policy with both a digital and physical subscription. They have 955,000 unique monthly visitors to their digital site and 2.1 million monthly page views. They had never had a product designer work on the site so my first contract was to do preliminary research and after a year, I redesigned the entire site.

Redesigned

  • Paywall (increased the subscription rate by 27% while decreasing the bounce rate by 50%, increased the mobile click through rate by 2.1%) -Navigation Bar - (increased the page views by 15,000 a week, increased the CTR by 2% and decreased the article bounce rate by 1.8%)
  • Homepage (currently being A/B tested - increased the density of articles, adjusted the hierarchy based on survey results, and added interactive modules)
  • Landing pages - (Being built - improved filters and redesigned the content above the fold)
