Created a biotech robotics platform to allow scientists to specify the steps of scientific protocols and then run those steps automatically through driver interfaces to the robot’s motor control systems.

Worked with research scientists to meet their needs and create advanced integrations, including one which allows the end user to simply enter a 15-character sequence of DNA into a text form and click “Run” to have the robot mix up a custom reagent to make a cut at that particular DNA sequence in target samples.

Designed an advanced user experience, developed a complex framework to make that user experience possible, and worked closely with visual designers to make the application look polished and inviting.
