ShowShantiShowShanti is a website I created while living in China for six years (2007-2013). I traveled to rural and urban towns and met families in their homes. They taught me how to cook authentic Chinese recipes loved by their families. With the help of a translator, I used both Chinese and English social media to find 40 families and coordinated travel to meet them in 13 different provinces.
ShowShanti connected people around the world through food and resulted in a published cookbook now available on Amazon.
