The Tour Management System, built for Signatures Network (now Live Nation), is a proprietary database developed for tour merchandising managers to track their inventory levels and reconcile their sales with the venue at the end of each show. Given the often remote locations of the venues and merchandise stations, the data is compiled offline, and synchronized with the home office once an internet connection is available. The synchronization of the inventory and sales data provides immediate reporting of sales, thereby enabling the home office to forecast and adjust the inventory supplies as needed throughout the entire tour. I was the Product Manager for both the development and implementation of this custom built application, working closely with the client and tour staff to define the desired features and functionality, as well as managed all of the quality assurance testing and documentation.
