Youth Empowerment Institute

A week long summer camp that teaches first generation high schoolers all the ins and outs of getting to college. The campers simultaneously code a “digital college counselor” smartphone app from scratch.

As the director from 2012 to 2014, I created and led nearly all workshops, recruited and trained counselors, and handled all administrative tasks.
