Principal DevOps Engineer

We are currently seeking a talented principal DevOps engineer to join our professional, internationally distributed engineering team. This is a part-time remote position.

Required Skills and Experience:

• — Strong working knowledge of Docker ecosystem
• — 2+ years experience of deploying and managing Kubernetes clusters at scale
• — Experience with Envoy and other proxies
• — Experience deploying and managing the Istio service mesh within Kubernetes
• — ElasticSearch operational expertise, preferably deployed on Kubernetes
• — Prior experience deploying Apache Kafka within Kubernetes
• — Continuous Integration experience with CircleCI or similar

Nice To Have Skills and Experience:

• — Experience with Google Cloud Platform and GKE
• — AWS cloud expertise
• — Prior experience in the operation of event-sourced, microservice based systems
• — Experience with TensorFlow Serving
• — Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Applied Mathematics, Electrical
• Engineering, etc or equivalent experience
